According to the Associated Press:

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Denver Broncos All-Pro left tackle Ryan Clady has undergone surgery to repair a torn left patellar tendon and will be out for several months, according to a published report.

The Denver Post reported on its website Wednesday that Clady suffered the knee injury while playing basketball, according to people it didn’t name.

Team spokesman Patrick Smyth declined to comment on the report when reached by The Associated Press, saying only that veterans were participating this week in the team’s offseason training program. Clady’s agent, Pat Dye Jr., didn’t immediately return a phone call.
