Your are correct that the Giants defense was only mediocre until last season, but lat season was actually Spagnuolo's first with the team. He was in Philly before that, who always had a solid defense. It only took him one season to upgrade the Giants mediocre defense to the defense that crushed the Pats in the Super Bowl. He could be a great fit as coach for a team that obvioulsy needs more help on the defensive side of the ball than on offense. I think you need to re-evaluate Spagnuolo.
